Trans writers are thinking about the Divine. How does this shape our writing?
In this 6-week class, we’ll explore this tendency in trans literature through six modes:
natural
unnatural
supernatural
mythosomatic
sensual
ritual
Writers and sources may include, but are not limited to:
smoke and mold, Eva Hayward, noam keim, Susan Stryker, Venus Selenite, Chase Berggrun, Cameron Awkward-Rich, Joy Ladin, Aurora Mattia, Moss Angel Witchmonstr, Max Yeshaye Brumberg-Kraus, etc!
I reserve the right to mix it up and I’m always open to suggestions.
*As someone who doesn’t have health insurance through my employer, I did the math based on valuing my labor hours (pre-class and weekly prep and admin, teaching hours) at $25. The value of the class is $700, but I’m offering it at the price below to make it more accessible.
